EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Kimberly Trotter Barrow is the new Executive Director of the Community Transformers Equity and Impact Innovators (CTEII), an organization dedicated to fostering collective work and responsibility within the communities it serves. With over 20 years of experience in local government, community engagement, and nonprofit leadership, Kimberly brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to CTEII’s mission of building sustainable programs that address the social determinants of health and promote health equity.As Executive Director, Kimberly leads a team of respected professionals dedicated to creating coalitions that empower communities and their residents. Her work is rooted in the belief that each community possesses the innate ability to transform and thrive when provided with the
necessary resources and support. Under her leadership, CTEII aims to ensure that communities are healthy, diverse, economically strong, and vibrant. Prior to her current role, Kimberly served as the Director of Parks and Recreation and as a Recreation Manager, where she supervised and supported nearly 100 employees. During her tenure, she successfully led operations and oversaw a variety of programs, emphasizing youth development, inclusion, and community engagement. Her extensive experience in program planning, staff management, and strategic partnership-building has been instrumental in driving positive outcomes across the organizations she has served. Kimberly holds both a Master of Science degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from James Madison University. She is committed to advancing CTEII’s vision for all communities to have the resources necessary to sustain equitable, healthy, and vibrant futures.
